Wage: $17.13/hour

Position Type: Part-Time, Student Employment

Hours: Up to 10–15 hours per week

Schedule: Monday–Friday, between 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Hours are flexible and based on tutoring demand, subject needs, and availability.

Position Summey

TRiO Peer Tutors support TRIO students by providing one-on-one academic assistance, sharing study strategies and learning techniques, and helping students build confidence as independent learners.

Students do not have to be a TRIO student and no necessary for prior experience. They can also be eligible for Federal or State work study. However, students are required to earn a 3.5 or better GPA in the classes they would tutor, which are mainly math, science, or English courses.
